Just Genes uses specially constructed, airtight holding tanks filled with liquid nitrogen. After collection, semen is processed under strict supervision and placed in a specialised medium before freezing. While a small reduction in sperm motility on thawing is normal (see the Morphology page), the majority of each sample remains viable.

Genetics can be stored in Just Genes’ own tanks, or Just Genes can maintain a client’s tanks on site. All nitrogen-filled containers are checked on a regular basis. Just Genes maintains rigorous tank maintenance protocols within a secure holding facility — backed by thorough processing and quality assessment at every stage.
The offices, laboratory, and holding pens are fitted with high-resolution surveillance cameras. All site visitors are monitored and logged, and the storage area is kept separate from normal operating areas. With secure, restricted-access cages and round-the-clock oversight, clients can be confident their samples are protected.
